Job Description:
Candidates would be expected to perform the following roles:
1. Proactive & reactive ready-for-business checks

2. Proactive & reactive real-time monitoring of processes, connections & trade flows

3. Notifying the business unit of system issues or failures in a timely manner.

4. Notify Compliance in a timely manner of regulatory issues.

5. Liaise with external parties to resolve issues.

6. System break/fix and user recovery

7. Investigating and resolving data quality issues

8. Investigation of user queries.

Candidate Profile:
Qualification:
1. Good working knowledge of FIX.

2. Strong technical, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

3. In depth understanding of Equity Cash and derivative trading concepts and ability to interact with traders

4. Good understanding of operating systems (UNIX, PC)

5. Good understanding of SQL and Sybase databases.

6. Professional ownership of issues

7. Knowledge of:- scripting languages, ksh, Perl, Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML and XML.

8. Can do attitude Candidates should have experience in the financial services industry.
