Job Description:
1. Strong on one automation tool such as UFT/Selenium
1. Strong on one automation tool such as UFT/Selenium
2.
Good scripting knowledge. Strong functional and basic DB knowledge
3.
Analyze business requirements/FSDs and find and communicate requirement gaps
4.
Contribute to test plan documents and write test procedures and resolve
Automation queries.
5.
Ensure that the Test Coverage is appropriate and meets the requirement of the
project
6.
Execute test cases and report test results
7.
Be able to write automation scripts in QTP/UFT, code and debug them.
8.
Implement various keywrod driven / hybrid frameworks
9.
Raise defects in defect tracking tool
10.
Good experience with creating test data for testing needs
11.
Contribute towards Estimation and Sizing of testing activities
12.
Should be able to identify problem areas in projects and communicate them
13.
Contribute metrics collection and status reporting
14.
Exposed to Onsite/Offshore model and can articulate to the state side partners
15.
Must have strong understanding of the SDLC and Testing life cycle
16.
Strict adherence to timelines and focus on deliverables
17.
Excellent understanding of defect life cycle
18.
Able to write simple queries with exposure to database testing
19.
Knowledge of any defect tracking tool - HP ALM or equivalent
20.
Domain knowledge is an added advantage
