Job Description:

Role Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement virtualization strategies and definitions for the core hosting infrastructure

-Participate in capacity management activities (forecasting, analysis, and planning)

-Provide daily support and maintenance of virtual environment (proactively monitor and maintain systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues, plan for capacity, upgrade hardware and software, respond to customer requests, work closely with other teams)

-Assist with server consolidation efforts

-Participate in on-call rotation

-Leverage industry publications and knowledge bases to provide thought leadership and best practices for data center design and management, capacity planning, and future infrastructure solutions and products
