Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1.
Design and develop end to end solutions to enhance various applications within
the Market Risk area while improving test coverage and time to production.
2.
Ensure consistency of technology usage across a program through continuous
reviews of existing tools and code and recommendations on best practices.
3.
Provide direction on technology use and technology menus, by performing
research into new technologies, liaising with technology providers,
establishing processes required for adoption.
4.
Drive the architecture and roadmap for assigned projects.
5.
Continuously improve technical competency across programs and departments, by
establishing relevant training, actively mentoring technologists and driving
implementation of best practices and adherence to standards.
6.
Role should display commercial awareness when proposing architectural
solutions. Inputs to Program manager (accurate estimates) for financial
planning.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
1.
Around 6.5 to 8.5 years of experience in Design & Development of Enterprise
grade applications
2.
Extremely strong hands-on developer. (Java, JEE, Spring)
3.
Led end to end solution design /architecture for at least 2 large scale
enterprise Products.
4.
Proficient in DevOps with tools like TeamCity, SONAR etc.
5.
Proficient in various development methodologies including waterfall, agile/
iterative and modelling techniques
6.
Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.
