Job Description:

• Certified Medical Coders
• Able to effectively and accurately abstract ICD-9/ICD-10 codes for medical records, as identified in project guidelines.
• Good understanding of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding guidelines.
• Thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Regularly and consistently meet quality and productivity standards required for project.
• Consistently adhere to companys HIPPA and PHI Guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Associate (CCA) required.
• Must have ICD-10 Certification or Proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years coding experience required.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hrs per week.
• Successful completion of coding skills assessment.
• Must have current ICD-9/ICD-10 CM Code Books.
• Must have reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace free of distractions.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data entry.
