DRDO dedicatedly working towards enhancing self-reliance in Defence Systems and undertakes design & development leading to production of world class weapon systems and equipment in accordance with the expressed needs and the qualitative requirements laid down by the three services.

Job Description:

Following Fellowships are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), at a monthly stipend of Rs.25,000/- + House Rent Allowance as admissible as per rules. Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in interview to be held at NPOL, Kochi for the selection of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) as per the details given below.

Junior Research Fellows:

1.Mechanical/ Civil Engineering/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Oceanography BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering in 1st Division with NET/GATE qualification. Or

2. M.Sc in Physics/Mathematics/Oceanography in 1st Division with NET qualification.

Desirable: Knowledge in numerical methods/data analysis and visualization tools.

Note: Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in interview on 31 July 2016 at 0900 hrs at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya in the campus of NAVAL PHYSICAL & OCEANOGRAPHIC LABORATORY, THRIKKAKARA P.O., KOCHI 682021.

They are required to produce all certificates/testimonials/Community certificate etc. in original and a set of attested copies of the same along with one recent colour passport size photograph at the time of interview.
