Job Description:

A walk-in interview will be held in the Conference Room of the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati, on 15th June, 2016, 4:00 pm for a temporary position of JRF in DBT, Govt. of India, funded project entitled “Investigations on the Molecular Mechanism of Nanomaterial-Cellular Interactions to Develop Potential Therapeutics”.

Qualification for JRF:

1. M. Sc. / B. Tech in Biotechnology/Bio-chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Molecular biology or any other allied subject with NET/GATE; Or M. Tech/ME in Biotechnology/Bio-chemical Engineering.

2. Candidates having interest in mathematics and having working knowledge of computer programming will be preferred.

Application & Selection procedure:

1. Candidates have to appear in the walk-in-interview in person along with an application/CV on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview.

2. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

3. Candidates will not be sent any interview call letter separately.

4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing in the interview.

5. All candidates must report by 3 PM on the date of interview.
