Job Description:

1. Applications are invited for the following post in a DST-INSPIRE Faculty Award project entitled “Rigid and Flexible Organic Linkers based Electron Rich Framework Materials: Synthesis, Characterization and Selective Sensing and Catalysis” [DST/INSPIRE/04/2015/001300] under Dr. Girijesh Kumar, DST-Inspire Faculty, Department of Chemistry & Center for Advanced Studies in Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

1. The post is purely on temporary (contract) basis and till the project is continued.

2. Interested candidates should submit their application with bio-data either by e-mail to gkumar@pu.ac.in or by post to the undersigned address by July 7, 2016 upto 5 pm.

3. The interview date will be intimated to the short-listed candidates thereafter by e-mail.

4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. The candidates must bring their original certificates/testimonials at the time of interview.

Candiate Profile:

• Essential Qualifications: 1st class M.Sc. in chemical Sciences
• Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in synthesis of organic and inorganic materials.
• The appointment is terminable with a one-month notice from either side without assigning any reason thereof. Since the project is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment under DST or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
• No benefit of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be given.
