Job Description:

• QA Engineer - Web Publishing
• Work closely with global production team members and business stakeholders to develop and maintain test plans, test scripts and test cases for each specific type of content (audience segment or web page type)
• Validation of all completed deliverables encompassing language, layout and quality.
• Respond to bugs and vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Document QA process and train web publishers on them.
• Develop a process to ensure code is securely developed
• Participate in content management system release UAT and report findings.
• Track issues and ensure closure.
• Be familiar with QA tools and look for QA process improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage content testing to meet business requirements.
• Monitor QA process effectiveness, adjust, improve and enhance as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify and finalize production/ application requirements.
• Reviews plans, designs, specifications, and other records and generates quality-related documentation.
• Candidate Profile
• Overall 6+ years of experience with minimum 3-4 years of web publishing quality assurance experience with a focus on commercial web applications
• Good control over testing tools and bug tracking systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree
• Degree in journalism or English literature will be a huge advantage.
• Flexibility in work hours. Work with globally distributed teams
• Candidate must have a good understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to multi task and priorities
