Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1.
Leverage a deep knowledge and understanding of the WAM industry and work in
conjunction with assigned account/solution teams to prepare insightful analysis
on trends and the implications of those trends for EY and the firm’s clients.
2.
Develop insights beyond publicly available information by interacting with
account teams, clients and WAM sector influencers. Participate in client
meetings, roundtables and other events.
3.
Participate in key strategic planning activities and major initiatives,
including pursuits. Focus on mapping sector issues to existing EY services and
identifying new revenue opportunities for the firm.
4.
Build strong relationships with priority accounts/solutions and collaborate
with client service partners (CSPs) and their teams to bring insight and perspective
to priority engagements.
5.
Proactively alert CSPs regarding tactical and strategic changes amongst key
accounts and assess the impact of those changes for assigned WAM groups
6.
Proactively deploy content to relevant sector communities through active
engagement, presentations and other knowledge sharing activities.
Candidate Profile:
Education :
1.
Relevant tertiary education (e.g., economics, finance or business studies) or
equivalent work experience
2.
Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification an advantage
3.
5+ years’ experience in strategy, business analysis, management consulting or
business performance advising with wealth/asset managers – either in-house or
as a consultant.
