Company Profile:
Established in 1958, the second of its kind, IIT Bombay was the first to be set up with foreign assistance. The funds from UNESCO came as Roubles from the then Soviet Union. In 1961 Parliament decreed the  IITs as  ‘Institutes of National Importance'. Since then, IITB has grown from strength to strength to emerge as one of the top technical universities in the world.

Job Description:
1.Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act 1948). A walk-in-interview will be held for engagement /appointment of Medical Officers on contract basis in the ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & PGIMSR Model Hospital, KK Nagar, Chennai-78 as per the schedule below.

Junior Residents:
Educational Qualification:
1. Orthopaedics, Pulmonology, Forensic Medicine – MBBS Degree from MCI Recognized Medical College.
2. Should have registered with MCI or State Medical Council.

Senior Residents:
Educational Qualification:
1.MBBS from a recognized Medical Institution.
2 Qualifications and Experience as per Teachers Eligibility Criteria available in MCI website.
I) MD/MS/ MDS in the concerned specialty from MCI recognized Medical Colleges.
II) Diploma in the concerned specialty from MCI recognized Medical Colleges with one year teaching experience.
III) a) DNB in the concerned specialty from MCI recognized Medical Colleges. DNB in the concerned specialty from Centers other than MCI recognized Medical Colleges/Central Institutes should have worked as JR for three years in the concerned specialty after DNB qualification in a MCI recognized Medical Institution.
3. For TB Chest - MD (TB & Chest Medicine)/ or Dip. NB in Chest Medicine
4. Should have registered with MCI or State Medical Council
