Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for responding to application support
escalations which involve troubleshooting moderate technical issues and
resolving data/configuration issues
2. Collaborate with multiple internal teams across disparate
groups to resolve client support escalations
3. Support internal customers in any day-to-day activities
4. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to
review software enhancements and provide design feedback
5. Monitor and manage a large number of critical service
delivery systems
6. Collaborate with peers on complex projects as required
(e.g. data center modifications, build-out for DR sites, etc.)
7. Participate in, or directly work on any additional
projects, assignments, or initiatives assigned by management
8. Create/Maintain documentation for operational procedures
as required
9. Provide after-hours and on-call support for client service
delivery
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
1. Intrinsically motivated to solve problems and enable the
success of others. Exudes constructive, productive attitude under adverse
conditions. Able to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
2. Strong experience with Linux/Unix in a functional capacity
3. Proven experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting
technical issues
4. Solid internal/external client service skills including
the ability to take ownership of escalated issues, provide clear and consistent
updates, and work with various internal teams until issues are fully resolved
5. Basic understanding of networking, routing, and security
strategies
6. 4+ years hands on systems administration or application
support experience
